Ranch House Picnic Area

The picnic area and picnic tables adjacent to the south end of the Ranch House may be reserved for larger outdoor gatherings.  While this area is otherwise available for drop-in use, the picnic area may be reserved by Ken-Caryl Ranch residents and non-residents alike. A minimum of 30 people is required to reserve the area with seating for up to 50 available.  A fee is charged to reserve the area for a specific function.  Use of Ranch House picnic area does not include pool usage unless special arrangements have been made.

Hours of Availability for Reservations: From May 1 through Labor Day, available in two separate time blocks:  10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.  AND  3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.  For further information, contact Terry Irwin at 303-979-1876.

Community Park Picnic Shelter

The picnic shelter and west baseball diamond located at Ken-Caryl Ranch Community Park may be reserved for outdoor gatherings and/or softball activities for a fee.  While this area is otherwise available on a first come first serve basis, the picnic shelter and west baseball diamond may be reserved by both Ken-Caryl Ranch residents and non-residents alike.  A fee differential will be assessed for non-residents and business functions.  The picnic shelter and west baseball diamond are reserved as a unit (i.e. the facilities may not be reserved individually).  A minimum of 30 people in a group is required to reserve the area with seating for up to 50 available.  Permanent restroom facilities are not located at the park.  However, portable toilets are available during the sport seasons and summer.

These areas can accommodate up to 100 individuals.  Homeowner sub-associations may receive a fee waiver for reserved use of the picnic shelter and west baseball diamond at the Community Park for a social function comprised entirely of Ken-Caryl Ranch residents from a particular community.  Each homeowner sub-association will be permitted no more than one fee waiver for use of the Community Park between the dates of May 1 and Labor Day.

Cancellation/Refund Policy:  If the event is cancelled with at least 24 hours notification to the Facility Administrator at the Ranch House, the fee, less a $10 refund service charge will be refunded.  Should the event be cancelled the day of the picnic due to inclement weather, the full fee will be refunded.
