Ken-Caryl Ranch History
Johns Manville Corporation purchased the property in 1971.  Their ideas of a planned community have resulted in present day Ken-Caryl Ranch.  Johns Manville made some attempts to restore the Bradford-Perley House, however, they never completed the work.  State Historic designation was received in 1997. In 2006 the Bradford Perley house ruin was PRESERVED by the present day Ken-Caryl Ranch Historical Society.
