Ken-Caryl Ranch History
|
|
Early days on Ken-Caryl Ranch meant an abundance of wildlife such as deer, elk, fox, wild turkeys, mountain lions and coyotes. The area was inhabited by the Woodland Indians who were hunters and gatherers. Evidence of habitation can be seen today on the interior of the rock shelters in many of the rock formations around the Ranch.
