All of our pre school programs create a safe and nurturing place for your child to explore, grow and have fun.  

Fall Preschool Programs

 Nuevos Amigos (“New Friends”): 
Little ones will gather for circle time, art activities and more as they are introduced to the Spanish language and culture. Curriculum themes will closely follow those in Little Learners and Explorers, although combined registration is not required.

Ages:  3 – 4 years (entering Kindergarten 2012)

Dates: Thursdays, September 2 - December 16 (No class on Thursday, November 25)

Kreative Kids: 
Children will explore various art materials from crayons to clay to create multi-media, ready-to-display masterpieces. Each week new techniques will be demonstrated as we learn about the famous artists who inspired them. Circle time activities, games, and stories will add to the fun as your little ones develop their social and cognitive skills.

Ages: 3 - 4 years (entering Kindergarten 2012)

Session 1: Fridays September 3 – October 22

 Book Buddies: 
Each week will feature a fun and imaginative children’s book that will inspire us to cook, create, and learn together. Children will engage in circle time activities, games, and much more as we discover the importance of sharing and cooperation.

Dates: Fridays October 29 – December 17 (No class on Friday, November 26)

 Half-Day Pre-K/Kinder Enrichment: 
While you enjoy a few extra hours of care, your child gains access to worlds of exploration through arts, children’s literature, and foreign language. We also offer an added option to include pick-up from Shaffer Elementary School following the AM Kindergarten session.

Little Learners will develop social skills and creative expression through dramatic play, sensory activities, art, stories and much more.  Our play-based program gives children the opportunity to develop physically, cognitively, and emotionally as they explore their surroundings.  Developmentally-appropriate curriculum helps create confident, inquisitive learners, and nurturing staff provide a fun and caring place for your child to develop and grow.

Ages:  3 – 4 years (Starting Kindergarten Fall 2012)

Dates:  Monday through Wednesday, August 30, 2010 – May 18, 2011

After a fun-filled morning as a combined group with the Little Learners, the Explorers will further develop basic skill sets in enhanced interest-centers. Focusing on early literacy and math concepts will prepare your Explorer for their exciting journey into Kindergarten.

Ages:  4 – 5 years (Starting Kindergarten Fall 2011)
Location:  Community Center Youth Room
Dates:  Monday through Wednesday, August 30, 2010 – May 18, 2011
Times:  9:00am–1:30pm (Please pack a lunch)
Monthly Fee: $240/resident, $275/non-resident

Class Size:  Minimum 5, Maximum 8
