Ken-Caryl Ranch History

The Open Space Committee provides information and recommendations to the Master Association Board on managing the Ranch Open Space. Established in the mid-1980's, the committee has worked on establishing the recycling program, acquiring the South Hogback, developing a comprehensive management plan and assuring that Ken-Caryl Ranch Open Space remains undeveloped and accessible to all Ranch residents.

The Ken-Caryl Ranch Metropolitan District Recreation Department exists to provide opportunities for personal growth. Through active and passive pursuits, we work with the residents of Ken-Caryl Ranch to provide opportunities to renew, restore, refresh and recreate in order to balance stressful lifestyles. It is our overall intent to encourage participation of individuals and families to develop the highest possible level of physical and mental well-being.
