KCRMD Receives Grant from
Jefferson County Open Space for Cathy Johnson Trail Maintenance
The Ken-Caryl Ranch Metropolitan District (KCRMD) learned in February that it had been awarded a joint venture grant from Jefferson County Open Space to assist with the repair and renovation of the Cathy Johnson Trail located in the South Hogback Open Space of Ken-Caryl Ranch. The Cathy Johnson Trail, which is owned and operated by the KCRMD, is approximately two miles in length, and traverses the Open Space from Deer Creek Canyon Road on the south to South Valley Road and Ken-Caryl Avenue on the north.

Summer Camp Registration
The District Dimensions summer catalog will be out on March 17th. Summer course registration begins April 5th for residents and April 12th for non-residents. The Summer Camp registration lottery is April 5 - 9th. Please follow the link below for additional summer camp information.

Ken-Caryl Ranch Water and Sanitation
District May Election Planned
The Ken-Caryl Ranch Water and Sanitation District (“District”) will hold an Election May 4, 2010, to fill three Board of Director seats. The District Board of Directors meets on the third Friday of each month at 6:30 a.m. If you are interested in filling an open seat on the Board and would like more information, please contact Tim Anderson, District Manager, at 303-979-7424.
Development Proposal
Ken-Caryl Towne Center Update
The Ken-Caryl Ranch Master Association has learned that the owner of the Ken-Caryl Towne Center, LLC has applied to the county to rezone approximately 14.07 acres, located on the northeast and northwest corner of Shaffer Parkway and Shaffer Place, from Planned Development to Planned Development to allow residential uses and maintain the existing commercial uses. The application is on the regular agenda for the January 26, 2010, meeting of the Jefferson County Board of Commissioners.
