MA Board Approves Amendments to Bylaws
At the August 17, 2010, regular business meeting of the Ken-Caryl Ranch Master Association, the Board approved changes to Article VII of the Bylaws, which apply to appointing new members to official MA committees.
Candidates shall be appointed to committee openings by a majority vote of the Board of Directors at any regular or special meeting of the Board following a period during which the position has been publicly advertised to the community.
The amendments also stipulate that attendance and participation in committee meetings is important, therefore, committee members are expected to regularly attend all meetings and committee chairs are encouraged to report non-attending members to the Board for consideration of removal. Non-compliant members can be removed by a majority vote of the Board of Directors.
